Bill C-51 & The Push for a Global Police State: Are You The Enemy?

The bill would give Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) the ability to disrupt terror plots, make it easier to limit the movements of a suspect, expand no-fly list powers, crack down on terrorist propaganda, take down websites that contain terrorist propaganda, and remove barriers to sharing security-related information.

This all sounds great on the surface until you actually read the bill you realize it is written with extremely vague and broad terms. Specifically, in the bill the definition of a terrorist includes anyone who interferes with the “critical infrastructure,” “territorial integrity,” or “economic and financial stability of Canada.” (How does this apply to political activist and how we are labelled.)

I will provide a short video created by a Professor of Law at the University of Ottawa. that goes into more detail about the specifics of the bill and how the Bill will impact justice Canada. Also I will post an open letter supported by over 100 academics, which urges our government to reject the bill. So check out that information if you want to learn more about Bill C-51.

But for the purposes of this video I want to go over a few points about the Bill that I believe are important for us to understand.

Hope our protests work. I really doubt as they don’t listen to our will
anymore. In spite of it all harper has to go. He is dragging our country
down the sewer. We are being compared the US now and our international
reputation is really taking a blow.

One of the most insightful and intelligent commentaries I have seen on
this subject. This is what we are facing as human beings, not just
Canadians. We are experiencing what Naomi Wolf described as 10 steps to
closing down an open society. It’s an old model that dictators have used
for years which is now being applied globally.
We in the former democracies have been operating locally while the
oligarchs have long since ceased to have any regard for the nation state.
The elites know what is coming by keeping on this unsustainable path of
endless economic growth and are busy installing the mechanisms of control
as life for the average citizen begins the inevitable decline.
And now, the corporatocracy has instructed the governments they have
bought and paid for to begin the enormous task of shutting down all
    dissent.

I shut down the video when you say Harper is no worst then the rest. Harper
is a tyrant what he says goes, noone in his party can side against what he
says without problems. He is pushing bills threw that hurts Canada not
helps because he has a majority government.
