Reality Check: Trump Did Not Make It Easier for Severely Mentally Ill People To Buy Guns

The latest mass shooting at a school in Florida is once again reigniting the debate over gun control and mental health. But now the media headlines are blaming President Trump because, they say, he signed a bill that actually made it easier for people with severe mental health problems to get guns. Is that true? Let’s give it a Reality Check you won’t get anywhere else.

First time I feel I have to call BS on you, but I guess there is a first time for everything. Despite all your listed opposition, the rule did go into effect and Trump repealed it, therefore he owns it.

Ben, what about the evidence suggesting that V2k technology was used by the CIA on the *alleged* shooter and that the FBI colluded with them in facilitating this incident? That possibility doesn’t destroy your point here which I do agree with. Maybe, that possibility is for a different Reality Check. Love your stuff.

Jimmy kimmel was saying the same thing after the Vegas shooting that trump gave guns to the mentally ill. The liberals lie about everything. They lie about their concern for daca yet when they are faced with an amnesty deal they turn their backs because the dreamers won’t be able to vote for 10 years, which is what they want. Democrats are communists and hate the constitution. Wake up sheep!!!

Ben, you need to do some more research on the Broward County school shooting HOAX, the crisis actors are being exposed at this very moment. TREASON and ESPIONAGE were committed against the office of the president by the FBI and the CIA, that’s the REAL news story, that’s reality. Steve Israel’s HOAX and FALSE FLAG school shooting is the distraction.

SSRIs – Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors are typically used as antidepressants for
depressive and anxiety disorders. MOST crazy shooters were on those meds; side effects!

The reality is the bill signed by Trump does make it easier for certain mentally ill people to buy guns. The bill signed by Obama would have increased the number of mentally ill required to undergo a background check…period. Swann in no way disproves that. To further point out that the shooter in Florida could have been stopped if attention to warning signs had been paid is ignoring the fact that an 18 year old was able to purchase an AR-15 along with about 10 other rifles in a period of a year. The reason he was able to do this is the lobbying power of the NRA and the mindless sheep politicians that they buy for their agenda.

I’m not really liking your return as something has changed and not for the better. Why is it when one of these people commit crimes such as this they ( the media) always look for some sort of mental health problem but when a person of color is killed in cold blood by law enforcement they only look for dirt to make the killing of them justified? Why are all of these un-armed blacks killed and all of these dangerous thug gun toting fools taken alive? This guy killed 17 people and I have lost count of just how many unarmed blacks were killed whom posed no threat to anyone.

Amazing how the Democrats have such a blind hatred of President Trump that they lie about anything to blame him for the worst society has to offer!
