Debunking Bitcoin FUD! – Here Are The Most Ridiculous Claims By The Media

Josh Sigurdson talks with author and economic analyst John Sneisen about the absurdity of the claims constantly made against Bitcoin.
Starting it off is the claim that Bitcoin is great for money laundering which couldn’t be further from the truth. Considering it’s totally traceable and fiat cash isn’t necessarily traceable, Bitcoin is actually bad for laundering money, not that people should be deterred from protecting their money from being stolen. In fact we have recently reported that only 0.04% of people reported their Bitcoin to the IRS according to Credit Karma. The difference is, it can be traced, the laws are just unenforceable.
Then there’s the claim that it is fueling the opioid crisis which is utter nonsense. If people wish to buy fentanyl, that isn’t Bitcoin’s fault just as it’s not fiat’s fault when fiat is used. Of course fiat is far more commonly used as dealers wouldn’t be very smart to use something traceable to sell something incredibly dangerous with so many adverse effects.
Then there’s the claim that Bitcoin is used to fund you know who. We cannot name them here on YouTube or we will not get ad revenue at all. But you know who we mean. The funny thing is, 99.9% of money used to fund you know who is in fiat. Should we ban fiat? Well you won’t get as many arguments over that.
Let’s not forget that government is the biggest sponsor of you know who.

In the end, the media can spread FUD all day about cryptocurrencies and it may temporarily work, but people will always disregard it long term as we are witnessing a monetary revolution before our eyes without a single casualty. It’s a beautiful thing.

Stay tuned as we continue to cover this issue!

I stack Silver instead of Bitcoin, because no matter what, I know Silver will have value, and I will need it, because I will NEVER accept the chip/mark.

Agree with you guys most of the time. But Crypto is worse than paper fiat. Paper vs “electrical sunny day” electrons? At least I can use paper to wipe my butt or burn it to keep warm when SHTF.

Price manipulators want in on the market. They’ll keep blathering to get the price down as far as possible. Hopefully, they won’t buy up all the Bitcoin…that could close it down. If they bought it up and didn’t circulate them ever again.
I’m holding long on Bitcoin, personally.

Why would anyone use Bitcoin for money laundering, when they have the pros at UBS, JP Morgan, etc. to help them out?

good to know you young punks still wet behind the ears know more than the elites that have been controlling the world for centuries. I’m sure that even though they have killed millions over the years through wars to keep their power they will just roll over and let you guys just punch a few keys on a computer and put them out of business.

Americans who have cheated on their taxes and dealt with the IRS penalties, etc., usually pay thereafter. Will they extend amnesty for a year? Will the prisons fill with BTC tax cheats??? If it’s so easy to trace these unclaimed earnings, you’d think there would be more compliance. BTC should have been a windfall for the Gov’t coffers???

Guys!!!!!! You are being distracted by the frantic waving of the left hand holding all those decentralised crypto-transactions which truly are openly registered on the collective blockchain, but for now with your identity hidden. The real action coming is that mark in your right-hand without which you cannot buy or sell on the blockchain. And once you take that mark in your hand, that identifies you and all your transaction thereafter. And if you become a naughty non-compliant transactor, then your mark/chip is turned off until your comply. And if you continue to refuse to comply, well, off with your head! Read about what is coming in Revelation chapter 13 & 14. And that is no FUD.

CC has an intermittent value. A cryptocurrency who is dependant on an electrical, code-driven footprint is most definitely NOT a hedge against the demise of paper currency… Be smart.
