Tim Moen, leader of The Libertarian Party of Canada offers his thoughts on the recent exodus of Maxime Bernier from The Conservative Party of Canada as Andrew Scheer drives the party left and libertarians are shunned.
As Tim Moen says, Max’s new party is likely to shine bright and then burn out as it’s just a watered down version of the Libertarian Party’s ideas. He will likely call out public school problems, but not public school as a whole. He will likely lead a quasi-establishment, anti-establishment brand of conservatism.
As Tim makes clear, he is not going to merge parties with Maxime and that this new party will come and go, but that Tim’s Libertarian Party will stay true to the principles of individual liberty and absolute freedom.
