Recently we got a comment on our report on what an anarchist society looks like 50 years down the line asking us to break down what the banking system would look like in an anarcho-capitalist society. So in this video, Josh Sigurdson breaks it down!
Of course banking would exist in an anarchist society, however, central planning the populace into servitude would not continue to happen. While quantitative easing would still happen, with competing currencies, the choice would be the individual’s whether or not they’d want to lend their money to a bank. The safe choice would be putting money into a private vault, but you can’t stop individual’s from signing a private contract to put their money in a bank. While it’s a complex issue to break down considering it hasn’t been considered much in past breakdowns, we hope you enjoy our run at the issue.
